What is it and what does it offer?

The department consists of a teaching staff specially trained in teaching RFL. It was created in 1974 and has taught foreign students from all over the world ever since.

The following services are offered:

An intensive practical course in Romanian a one year foundation course for foreigners preparing for: undergraduate studies, specialization, doctorate.

Departments: highschool completion:

• medicine

• science and technology

• agronomy and veterinary medicine

• humanities

• arts

• economics

Duration: October 1 – June 15 (2 semesters)

• 1 st semester: 14 weeks / 5 hrs./day

• 2 nd semester: 14 weeks / 10 hrs./week - Romanian language.

Tuition fees:

$ 360 / month – medicine

$ 320 / month – science and tehnology, agronomy humanities, economics

$ 460 / month – arts (music, fine arts)

$ 720 / month – dramatic arts

$ 300 / month – highschool completion

A course in Romanian language culture and civilization for foreign students in all the departments mentioned above.

Intensive practical course in Romanian – RFL Centre for all foreigners who are in business or engaged in humanitarian activities in Romania.

Duration: 3 months / 2 hrs. / day (40 hrs / month).

Levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced.

Tuition fee: the equivalent sum in Romanian currency of $ 70 / month / person.

Both the duration and the period of study are negotiable.

Summer Course of Language, Culture and Civilization organized annually at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Duration: 3 weeks (end of August – beginning of September).
