The
Faculty of Letters and History is one of the largest and most
prestigious faculties of the University of the West Timisoara.
Structured on departments and sections, our faculty manages to cover
successfully the entire humanistic gamut.
National
and international recognition is the natural result of all the efforts
in terms of education and management, the number and quality of teachers
as well as their research activity, all of these making the Faculty of
Letters and History one of the most efficient in Romania.
The
Faculty of Letters and History is the most European faculty with this
profile in Romania because it promotes multiculturalism and
interdisciplinarity as major objectives of academic education. A good
proof for this is the long list of partner universities from the country
and from abroad and the large number of scientific projects that have
been developed in all these years, emphasizing on the cosmopolitan
aspect and the scientific rigour of our faculty.
