CULTURE AND CIVILISATION

Summer Courses Program
Crash courses in Standard Romanian are offered at three levels: for
beginners, intermediate students and advanced students. At the beginning
of the programme, a test will establish the level of the course you will
be taking.
In addition to these language courses, the programme acquainting you
with the Romanian literature, culture and civilization contains debates,
round-table talks, movie projections, visits at various institutions,
sight seeing and opportunities to meet important personalities of
Romanian cultural life, as well as optional workshops.
The workshops will focus on the theme of this year’s Summer Courses
edition: Post-communism and Europeanness in Contemporary Romania.

Certificate:
The University of the West in Timişoara issues a certificate of
participation at the end of the courses.
Fees:
The fee
including tuition, teaching materials, the guided tours (city
sightseeing, museums, etc.) and the excursions is 350 EURO.
